San Jose, California--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Parade Technologies, Ltd. (Taipei Stock Exchange code: 4966.TWO), a leading supplier of high-speed interface ICs, today announced the third quarter of fiscal year 2021 ending September 30 Financial results for 2021 and provide guidance for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021.

Consolidated revenue was US$197.2 million and consolidated net profit was US$53.34 million. The basic and fully diluted after-tax earnings per share ("EPS") were 0.67 US dollars (18.71 Taiwan dollars) and 0.66 US dollars (18.34 Taiwan dollars), respectively. In comparison, the consolidated income of the same period last year was US$150.15 million, and the combined net profit was US$36.75 million. That is, basic and fully diluted earnings per share were US$0.47 (NT$13.80) and US$0.46 (NT$13.52), respectively. Taiwan Dollar).

In dollar terms, consolidated revenue for the third quarter of 2021 increased by 9.39% from the previous quarter and 27.69% year-on-year.

In the third quarter of 2021, gross profit was US$94.14 million, an increase of 12.76% from the previous quarter and a year-on-year increase of 42.47%.

On August 19, 2021, Parade announced the launch of PS188, a USB 3.2 hub chip that integrates DisplayPort™ 1.4a to HDMI™ 2.0 converter and dual USB Power Delivery 3.0 controllers. The PS188 upstream port supports USB 3.2 (Gen 2×1) and DP alternate modes, while the downstream port provides HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 (Gen 2×1) ports, and an additional USB 2.0-only port. Two integrated Power Delivery controllers provide full PD 3.0 functionality for the upstream port and one downstream USB Type-C® port. PS188 represents Parade's first acquisition of Fresco Logic in 2020, and combines Parade's video expertise with Fresco's USB hub and power transmission technology. On September 29, 2021, Parade announced DP818/DP816 timing controller (TTcon) with integrated touch controller, TC2200 source driver (TSD) with integrated touch analog front end (AFE), TC2201, gate array (GOA) )) Level shifter (TLS) is used for required display and touch voltage generation. On October 12, 2021, Parade announced the launch of PS5169 and PS5170 USB-C linear redrivers optimized for smartphones and ultra-mobile devices. The PS51xx series improves the signal integrity of USB 3.2 and DisplayPort 1.4a signals through USB-C interconnection, and the power consumption is very low. The PS5169 and PS5170 linear redrivers are fully compliant with the USB-IF USB 3.2 specification and support up to Gen 2×2, or two channels running at a signal rate of 10 Gbps. For DP Alt Mode support, they comply with VESA DP 1.4a, up to 4 channels under HBR3, or 8.1 Gbps link rate, and comply with VESA DisplayPort Alt Mode 2.0. On October 19, 2021, Parade announced the launch of the PS8830 USB4 retimer for commercial and consumer PCs, host systems and peripherals. PS8830 has all the functions of USB4, DisplayPort 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3.0. This allows OEMs to provide a wide range of products with a platform life that faces the future. PS8830 fully complies with the USB4 specification of USB-IF and supports up to Gen 3×2 (2x 20Gbps) or 40Gbps. It supports DP 1.4a and USB 3.2 USB4 tunnels and alternate modes, including DP 2.0 up to UHBR20 and TBT 3.0 up to 41.25Gbps (2x 20.625Gbps). When USB4 mode is not supported, PS8830 will fall back to USB 3.2 mode.
